Sensor Provisioning
1,000 sensors. Under 4 hours. No spreadsheet.

How it works
Bulk provisioning without the pain
1
Upload your device list
Export the sensor IDs from your supplier or existing system. Upload the CSV to Iotpathway. No specific column format required — we map fields on import.
2
Auto-discover and match
Iotpathway scans the network for matching devices. Devices already broadcasting are matched and confirmed automatically. Mismatches are flagged for review.
3
Assign and set baseline
Assign devices to fleet groups in bulk using naming rules or location data in the CSV. Set the firmware baseline — all devices not at that version are flagged for OTA.
Flexible CSV import
- Column mapping on import — no prescribed format
- Supports MAC address, device ID, and QR code fields
- Validation report before finalising — catch errors before they propagate
Network auto-discovery
- Passive discovery — no broadcast storm on your network
- Matches discovered devices against import list
- Unmatched devices surfaced for manual review
Fleet group hierarchy
- Nested groups — Plant > Line > Zone
- Bulk assignment with rules based on device metadata
- Group-level firmware policies and alert thresholds
Provisioning audit trail
- Full log of every provisioning action with timestamps
- Who imported, who assigned, when baseline was set
- Exportable for compliance and maintenance records
